Zimbabwe's King Of The Runway To Handover His Duties.

He has been with the AMMFI brand as its ambassador, since he emerged in the industry. The name Shadel Noble (SN) is one of the names that our dominating Southern Africa's modelling industry. Almost ever fashion photographer and designer in Southern Africa wants to have Shadel to feature in one of his or her pieces. This is because of his modelling profile, which speaks on his behalf, his the current reigning Mr Zimbabwe and his AMMFI brand ambassador.
The AMMFI which is a modelling and fashion brand which nurtured Shadel for a long time as their ambassador are seeking a new ambassador from Zimbabwe, meaning that Shadel has to hand over his duties as the ambassador to someone. We find out from Shadel Noble about his journey as the AMMFI ambassador.

TR:Being part of the AMMFI what did it meant to you and your career?
SN: Being part of the AMMFI, really meant a lot to me and my career because I was going to be their first ever, brand ambassador from  Zimbabwe and a brand ambassador for anything career related for the first time.
I was really proud of it and this meant a possibility of more gigs in and around Southern Africa which was truly exciting.

TR:What benefits did you obtain from the brand?
SN: The benefits I obtained from this where vast, such as getting more bookings that where  out of Zimbabwe  which  was really exciting because this was the start  of my modelling career and more work in fashion.

TR:During your reign as the brand ambassador of AMMFI  what are some of the runways fashion shows did you take part in?
SN: During this time, some of the great and memorable shows I did where, Mpumalanga Fashion Design Week, Swaziland Fashion Week and Tshwane Fashion Festival which I thoroughly enjoyed.

TR:Shadel you are both the reigning  Mr Zimbabwe and the brand ambassador of AMMFI how did you manage to different the two during your work?
SN: Yes I am and it was an interesting time to be and to be honest, it was not really as hard as one would think  because the two title came at different times and in different seasons so I didn't have to dim one in order for the other to shine, there was a gel and flow to them both to have the needed focus in their times.

TR:As this year a new brand ambassador from your own country is taking over from you. What characteristics do you believe are needed from the new ambassador ?
SN: I believe people differ and do things differently in everything but i think the characteristics that I believe the new  ambassador may need  have and exude is passion, they would need to be a natural leader and definitely be hard working because that will always beat talent in any industry.

TR:Will you still be part of the AMMFI family after you resign as the ambassador of the brand?
SN: Without a doubt, yes,I most definitely will be still part of the AMMFI because that is family, that's where I could say it really began the international recognition I've received and they really have nurtured me and I see most of them as  my brothers and sisters, that's family right there.

TR:To your modelling career recently we have been seeing you working with big brands from your country such as Edgars. Can one say indeed hard work pays and are we going to be seeing you working with more big fashion brands?
SN: Hard work always pays  off and I stand by that belief always cause with out the passion and hard work in one puts in,talent alone can't do it,there's many talented folk without a job out there search because they thought they were talented enough to wait and be found instead of finding work to fit and expand their talent, personally i believe I wouldn't be where I am today if I didn't put the work in alongside the talent,it's 50/50.

TR:To the AMMFI team what words do you have for them after working with them as their brand ambassador ?
SN: To the AMMFI team,I am grateful and tremendously honoured that they chose me and saw my passion organically and  I would  like  to thank them for helping me grow as a model and continue to support me and   helping me to excel as a model.

TR:Also to the new ambassador who will be selected what motivating words do you have ?
SN: For the new ambassador I would say,   always  work hard  and never  give up,never grow a big head and  think you have made it,if anything, being awarded the title means you have a bigger task and more work at hand than before because you are carry a torch from the last to the next and you have to keep it burning and continue the process that already was and needs to be continued.

CAMEROON MODEL NICK PARKER MAKES HIS COUNTRY PROUD AT THE RECENT MAN OF THE WORLD PAGEANT HELD IN PHILIPPINES.

Nick Kevin is a Cameroon model who is also the 3rd runner up for
Mister Earth Fire pageant which was hosted in Philippines.
This year his one of the few African models who participated in Man of
The World Pageant which was held in Philippines. In an interview Nick
Kevin (NK) shares with us some his greatest moments during the Man Of
the World Pageant.

TR:Who is Nick Kevin Parker?
NP: Nick Kevin Parker is a 23 Cameroonian Model. I m a graduate of
Journalism and Mass communications.

TR:Tell us more about your modelling career?
NP: I started modeling in 2016, when i got the title of Mister Pacific
World Cameroon. With this title i was suppose to represent my country
at the next edition of Mister Pacific World 2017 in Peru, May 2017.
Unfortunately i couldn't travel due to visa issues. I didn't give up,
i kept working till i got other opportunities.

TR:You previously participated at Man of the World pageant, share with
us some of the experience that you had?

NP: Man of the world pageant is actually my second international pageant.
In April 2018 i left my country to take part in Mister Earth pageant
in the Philippines  in which i got the title of Mister Earth Fire
International 2018 (3rd runner up). This pageant took place 2 weeks
after i lost my father.I wasn't satisfied with Mister Earth pageant
because of the organization, so i joined Man of the world pageant.
This is an unforgettable pageant, i can say the best so far. This
pageant was not all about getting the crown but it was all about
brotherhood, building strong relationship. I liked the harmony and
friendship that existed among us contestants. It was such an amazing
experience since i met new cultures, new habits, lifestyles etc.....

TR:What was your greatest moment during the pageant?
NP: My greatest moment during the pageant is when i got a bronze medal
in swimwear competition. It was so amazing and i cried that day as i
remembered my father. I said to myself " your dad is happy, you made
him proud with this medal".
I Will also mention our different appearances in public where we
contestants were always welcomed with honors, respects; like Hollywood
celebrities.

TR:One might say Africa had few model who were contesting compared to
other continents. What do you think it means to Africa's modelling
industry ?

NP: In my opinion, i will just say that Modelling in Africa is still
trying to find its way. Many African countries don't support the idea,
as far as male models are being concerned. In my country for instance
modeling is always considered being a woman stuff.

TR:What would it mean if Africa hosted such an event?
NP: It Will be wonderful because this Will help Africa to come out
from the darkness an showcase his culture around the world, to make an
impact in the modeling industry and of course to promote our cultural
values, habits and talents to the whole world.

TR:Besides the man of the world pageant which other pageants have you graced?
NP: As i said earlier, Man of the world pageant is actually my second
international pageant. Mister Earth pageant was the first. I won't
stop at this point since other pageants are coming.

TR:You are based in Cameroon can you describe for us the modelling
industry in Cameroon especially for male models?
NP: Modeling in Cameroon is still crippling, poor especially for male models.

TR:Thank you for your time

NP:Thanks so much for this opportunity as you guys are promoting black
models around the world. I m so Grateful.
