TR:Talking about fashion show, one of your last year's performance shows you catwalked for Tapfumanei'collection. What did it mean to you?
BN:Showcasing for Tapfumanei was really a great experience for me.Learnt a lot the outfits were amazing n everything was just on point.

TR:Besides  being a model you are also into music, how do you balance the two?
BN:Music n modelling kinda relate ,the lifestyle is just the same and im passionate of them both. When im doing one im also doing the other one so its  really not that hard to balance them both.

TR:You are still growing in the industry (modelling) do you believe up coming models are given an opportunity to showcase their talents during fashion shows casting or fashion show organisers prefer those with experience?
BN:Its really hard for any upcoming model to get a platform to show case their talents especially on a fashion shows.Organisers prefer those with experience, those with bigger brands already
And that really affect us as up n coming models because we need that experience to build up our brands.
I personally think they need to give everyone an opportunity to experience  especially during Fashion Shows for with experience that's how you build your  brand as a model.

MODELLING IS NOT JUST A HOBBY BUT AN ART.

Growing up in an environment where one is surrounded by fashion and model elements, this influenced young Zimbabwean model Clayton Bhekumuzi Dube (23) to venture  into the modelling industry in 2015 as a model.Clayton embarked on his journey as a runway and a photogenic model as these two were his favourite departments in the modelling sector and also because Zimbabwe doesn't conduct much modelling pageants.

The young Zimbabwean model told Aftv that one of the main reasons that has made a number of Zimbabwe's male models
to turn into photogenic, runway and commercial modelling is because of the issue of payment and also that they get exposure from these type of modelling.
"Seeing that in Zimbabwe there aren't or less pageants for male models,I opted for runway modelling.I've always preferred runway to pageant modelling," explained Clayton Dube.
Clayton further encouraged young upcoming models to be signed with any legal  agency as this will protect them from being exploited by fashion show organisers during fashion shows.
"I believe every model should be signed up to an agency, this is going to help to protect their rights during fashion shows that they participate in when hired .
"There are great modelling agencies in Zimbabwe for instance Open Eye Studio.Yes there is freelance modelling but having an agent is advisable,"advised Clayton.
The young gentleman who is inspired by South Africa's award winning Tv personality Maps Maponya said,he hopes modelling studies will be introduced in Zimbabwe's universities as part of arts studies.
He stated out that this will assist the public to understand  that modelling is part of art and not a hobby.
" I believe modelling should be introduced in universities as a part of studies as this will open people’s minds in the sense that modeling is not just a hobby, it’s a art that is mastered and people do make a living out of modeling in other countries, and this would mean models taken seriously when on the ramp.We soon hope to get to that level as a nation," he said
