CHECK OUT THE JUDGES AND FINALIST OF MINI SCOUTING MENS WEAR

 In association with GQ SA the Mini scouting SA competition  is back for the second year.
The platform is dedicated in empowering young talented designers in Menswear and to provide exposure for them  in the world of fashion. 

This year's winner will be assisted with tools to transition from developing creative to sustainable business with potential for commercial growth.
Also the winner will get an opportunity for a trip to Menswear Fashion far,Pitti Imagine Umo 96 in Florence,Italy from the 11th to the 14th of June as well as media exposure in GQ South Africa.

While they will also get an opportunity to have their brands to be exhibited at SA fashion Week's SS 2019 in April and SAFW A/W 2020 and lastly a Pop Up shop in August 2019.
The finalist brands are Bi-Parel (by a 26 year old graduate from university of Johannesburg,Shaylene Morris,her vision and future in fashion was made reality through commitment and hard work.
Her brand Bi Parel,these season is inspired by recycling X-ray sheets.
Nesu founder by Denzel Vilakazi is another brand in the competition. 
His brand seeks to preserve indigenous South African wear and pay homage to Africa.
His a former fashion student at Tshwane University of Technology.The brand focuses on both male and female. 

Reign is the third brand which produces menswear line collections positioned as Unisex as the brand's identity is centered around the strength of individuality and not on sexual orientation,societal order or normative pressure.
Richard Hoy is a Johannesburg based contemporary men's wear design.Graduated with a fashion diploma and started to work in a merchandiser which had to do with fashion wear. 
He now deals with ready to wear clothes.
Tabitha Style is a brand that belongs to Dorcas Madi and George Mkhoma who have been fashion partners for more than decades. 
Their main collection,'Samurai Futuristic’' is inspired by the Japanese military.
Inspired by versatility, minimalism and comfort, Zandile created Zazü in January 2019, a brand that captures the essence of comfort and ethical design with inspiration coming from the East, which Zandile believes to be the future. “Our brand’s aim is to care for both the customer and the lifecycle of the clothes it produces,” remarks founder, Zandile Makombe.
The judges of the event will include:Maps Maponyane,Molife Milton Kumona,Mini Livhimba Taz Phaswana,Edcon Donidel,Annette Pringle Kolgch,Alexandra Kitsandonis.
