DELAYED BUT NOT DENIED.

Growing up in an environment surrounded by cameras and in addition having a father who was a professional photographer and a mother who is a well established fashion designer, it paved way for Delany Peterson to be part of the modelling a platform which one can use to express his thoughts and emotions.
Recently Delany Peterson was crowned the new Mr Global Africa Zambia he takes over the office from Ethan Ngandu.
Delany took part in the Mr Global Africa Zambia after he was influenced by his loved ones.
"Winning this has given me a platform to reach out to people and speak out a lot about challenges that I've faced, challenges that we as humans face but turn the other check," Delany Peterson.

Despite entering the pageant at a later stage than other participates, Delany never thought of giving up as his fans continued supporting him through votes.
"At first when the competition begun I was in Finland visiting my girlfriend and learning about Finnish culture,I really thought I was not going to make it on time back in Zambia.
"When I finally decided that I will take part in the pageant. I realised that I had a lot of people that looked up to me having a few votes due to my late advertising about the pageant, "said Peterson.
During the pageant Peterson won the Best Body award, which he described it as a miracle after he faced some injuries three months before the pageant.
Delany said as Mr Global Africa Zambia he is going to make sure that empowerment is done especial to the male models.

He advised sponsors and promoters especially in Zambia to assist male models by sponsoring shows as this will empower the male modelling industry.
"We need more sponsors and managers to put more effort in placing us male models on higher platforms, that is the only way the world can see the potential of Zambian male models, "said Peterson.
